trying lower-poly with pixel art texture; this one is 370 tris! i have no idea what i am doing

these are the helmet nodes btw! not a lot to it, just using the camera view angle as texture coordinates
it's in the background because it faces inwards and draws backfaces as transparent. also had to set it to ignore diffuse rays or the entire inside is black

this is really cool, I have no idea how the fixed stars work (there’s a clip at the bottom of the helmet if you didn’t see)

and, not super well? there's plenty more i'd like to do with the effect but i'm not sure how to accomplish it with blender's nodes
