oracle of ages/seasons draw their textbox directly onto the map layer (which is a grid), so i was wondering how they kept the textbox centered indoors, where the map can scroll freely
the answer is... they don't! i never noticed. i guess it can only be off by 4px at worst

I was almost thinking keeping the size of the room to make it appear much more centered would probably be a programmers illusion at best if the pixels cant be adjusted correctly no matter how its done.

I love when you find hacks like these, that you miss hundreds of times before you even think about them. Like finding how low-poly a "round" 3D object actually is.
