Captain Marvel is a blast! Has some cool surprises that I definitely didn't see coming, and the mystery/origin it weaves is engaging and fun. Brie Larson is awesome, and makes a fantastic first step into the MCU #CaptainMarvel

The tweets I’m reading seem to be struggling to genuinely like this movie- as if it’s much more uneven than they’d like to admit. People don’t seem to be really praising Brie either. I don’t think this bodes well

What ages is it appropriate for? I'd like to take my 12 and 8 year old daughters to it but my 8 year old finds some of the Marvel movies too scary.
