As announced last month, today marks the beginning of callback URL whitelisting enforcement. Apps using Sign in with Twitter who have not whitelisted their URLs will experience disruption. To whitelist your URLs, follow the guidance in our May forum post.https://twittercommunity.com/t/action-required-sign-in-with-twitter-users-must-whitelist-callback-urls/105342 …

The callback URL enforcement doesn’t seem to work. "Callback URL not approved for this client application" even though it’s correct. You know how I know it’s correct? Because I had to change it last week when you pre-flighted this feature. And I got it working then. Until now.

Make sure you don't pass any query string parameters to the callback URL that haven't been white-listed. I was hoping that they'd at least support the state param.

Thanks for the suggestion; I believe node’s passport-twitter doesn’t add anything extra but I’ll see if I can debug the exact outgoing request. I thought I got it working last week (the URL was incorrect originally) but maybe they just stopped testing right at that time…

And that was exactly what was wrong, stray params. Thanks again!
