All I know, is that if I was in a crowd that started screaming, "lock her up" I would stop them. My biggest dismay is that nobody in Trump's crowds stopped them. No one IN the crowd felt a glimmer in their head that maybe this isn't right.
And now .... this idea that it's how we do things. And it isn't. this isn't how the United States does things. Laws against vigilante and mob justice, is not a protection against mob justice. It's wishful thinking. There is no such thing as a small and safe amount.

And once mob justice is already going in full force, you can't reign it in. For reference, these days they often call it "riots" ... But roots more involved destruction of property than targeting of individual citizens.

Yes it is time to speak out, so call your congresspersons .... Write your senator and representative. Write the president. Go to their office. Organize a march. Organize voting drives. Accosting people on the street to verbally assault them? Not so much a good thing.
