On a bright note, the exit polls have predicted a resounding victory for the SNP in Scotland. They might even have ousted Jo Swinson. I think it might be time to consider heading north across the Wall.

I'm going to make a prediction: I think the exit poll is unrealistically high, but I think the Clown is going to get a majority. Just not more than Thatcher. He can't get more than Thatcher.

I've left the pub, heading home, where I worry I'll stay up all night watching the results come in like a slow motion train wreck. If nothing else, I want to know if Raab, Duncan Smith and Swinson have lost their seats. Hope still springs eternal.
