St Andrews is wonderfully diverse. They even let Northumbrians like me in! Though that is "North of Hadrian's wall" like the London based media like to use as a (wrong) synonym for Scotland.

I still maintain that the river Tees is a good marker for where to start Scotland... Tho I'd settle for the Humber as a border. Seems easier to sell than my suggestion we move the border to the channel, and give Scotland independence as an EU state.

My main worry now is who gets citizenship. I'd have my passport by now anywhere else, and I feel Scottish. I hope it's as open as it possibly can be - I know people who'd have been ruled out last time around who are very much Scottish.
