I didn't blur this because I'm scared anyone will steal my ideas* by the way, but because it isn't thought out properly yet. Not that my handwriting is legible anyway. * Please steal my ideas

I'm impressed you can focus with so much blur.

I love the *feel* of pen and paper, but I'm so incredibly slow (relative to my typing speed) that I find myself losing thoughts because I can't record them before they fall out of my consciousness.

I get frustrated by how slow it is compared to typing but I find it works really well for this sort of thing because slowing down gets my thoughts in order better. Having the sneaky pint on the side is another part of it :)

The only exception to this is juggling symbolic maths expressions, where the representation is extremely dense and the thoughts are comparatively slow, and as an added bonus the ability to draw arbitrary ligatures makes expression easier than in an editor buffer.

I think my brain works differently with pen and paper. Some ideas just need to be explored that way, for others typing seems better.
