I've also gone back to mostly working on a laptop in recent years. I have a monitor in the office but I don't plug into it.

I have a ground-floor office with floor-to-ceiling windows, so I can hide behind it when there is glare off a car window outside.

At least I don't have that problem on the first floor. I suppose I could rearrange the furniture a bit and use it to make it look like I'm not in, though.
