The State Patrol corralled us into a dead end. They pushed @MikeShumFilms over a wall as he was trying to flee. With blood running down my face, I was injured and blinded, but ignored by officers as I asked for help. Photojournalist Peter Van Agtmael found me and came to my aid.pic.twitter.com/XJkYbFxh1o

Images I shot of press after being tear gassed. I was also tear gassed and shot at without any verbal warning.pic.twitter.com/Of0PE28a3R

Are you the one with the bloody eye?! We were right behind you. We were really worried about you. This was our view of it.https://www.facebook.com/356074941105769/posts/3020200918026478/?vh=e&d=n …

You can clearly hear at least one woman shout, "We are reporters! Reporters!" as they're beaten & gassed by the Minnesota State Patrol. Hey,
@MnDPS_MSP: Look up the Nuremberg Trials--"I was just following orders" didn't work as a defense for baseless, savage cruelty then, either -
It's apt!
@Figzet Just scary. - 1 more reply

“We know there’s a risk when we cover these riots...” this was an attack by the police. No riot was in progress until they started beating and gassing people.
