Mental illness runs rampant with creative people and the isolation cause by designing games in tiny groups only makes it worse. I wish there was more support or I had some kinda solution, but all I can say is please talk to each other and be gentle with one another.
Being apart of groups (on Discord for example) is a huge help. You have a constant moral support, and if you build something within this group, it becomes truly reliable with time. Can't imagine being on my own today.

In the Western world society, mental illness is becoming more and more common due to the fact that we have such a secure society where today we do not have to perform for survival. You can afford to feel extra for how you feel, luxury sickness the doctors call it.
Not a single doctor worth the title has ever said that shit.
I always wanted to make some way to reach out to those who needed help and people to talk to. I mostly end up in that position myself but I ain't perfect. Then some website came but.. that wasn't right... I am still someone who wants to help and make people smile though :)

Lots of 'mental illnesses' are disabilities, that is lifelong health conditions that people have to cope with. I really doubt they run rampant in any group, especially considering the abysmal employment rate of these people. Also, outing such information is really not cool now.
Your crew showed me & my SO a fantastic time at pax. It was the first time in 5+ years of freelancing that I was able to meet twitter pals IRL. Just being in the presence of such beautiful & creative people has rejuvenated & inspired me
