I'm not a fan of the Tories but seems odd to say conservatives can't win here when they came 2nd & Ukip came 3rd last time.

Hi Jim. It's possible for any of us to win, but highly unlikely. The Tories were a distant 2nd in 2015. The maths doesn't stack up for them.
-
And they know it: they've not run an active campaign here. We Greens have more in common with Labour, but aren't willing to pack up shop.

So unlike marginal seats, people in
#Leeds Central don't have to vote tactically. Whoever they vote for, it's cool - but that's my pitch. -
I totally agree it's open, if difficult, and people should vote for what they believe. I just don't believe that Tories don't have a chance.

But the prospect of corbyn as PM? Abbott as home secretary and Mcdonnell as chancellor ? its just awful. Hence my tory vote
-
Cheers Simon. But in
#Leeds Central, I'd argue we're effectively irrelevant. It's all about the marginals. Hence the need for voting reform. -
Did we not have a referendum on voting reform only a few years ago which was firmly rejected by the British people? Once in a generation?

AV was a rubbish offer. The right-wing lobby threw tons of ££ into the anti campaign. We're out of step with 95% of peer nations... (1/2)
