As someone who has the luxury of rarely stepping foot in either, what’s the difference? They have the same expensive low quality products and cold storage produce don’t they?

You have too much bugs bunny. Value for money supermarket hierarchy in my my regional Victorian city is Aldi, Coles, Woolworths, IGA.

I'm mainly a Woolies guy and always have been, except Coles is on DoorDash in my area + they have a better range of pre-made salads that I get hooked on.
