If your rep is on the Judiciary Committee in the House, it's important to call them, too. Here's the list: https://judiciary.house.gov/wp-content/uploads/2017/07/115th-House-Judiciary-Committee-Updated-7-12-17.pdf …

Even if your rep isn't on this list, call them. The switchboards should be overloaded today. Remind Congress of their mandate.

There is momentum behind this, even for GOP members, but this doesn't succeed without pressure from you.

On the Senate side, the DREAM Act, sponsored by Graham, should be your message: https://www.congress.gov/bill/115th-congress/senate-bill/1615 …

A couple sort of minor notes, DACA wasn't a law, so it isn't being "repealed" rather, the program is ending.

The reason Congress must act is because this was an administrative order. It was always on shaky ground.

DACA was not a pathway to citizenship. It wasn't amnesty. It simply prevented children from being deported under limited circumstances.

If you hear any of these kinds of arguments from staffers, please push back. Be kind but firm on facts re: DACA. Show you know your stuff.

Don't call legislators who don't represent you. Even if they are in leadership. Even if you feel your calls to your reps don't matter.

If staffers say protection won't end immediately, be prepared to push back: https://www.speaker.gov/press-release/statement-daca-program … Here's why: https://www.washingtonpost.com/blogs/plum-line/wp/2017/09/05/dont-be-fooled-by-the-scam-that-trump-will-pull-today-on-daca/?utm_term=.56e71f420679 …

Regardless of whether or not DACA was an overreach of executive power, Congressional action is not. Focus on THEIR JOB in your calls.

I have a dear friend who was deported under Obama's admin, using rules established by the Bush and Clinton admins. Dems aren't off the hook.

Pressure needs to be applied to your GOP and DEM lawmakers, because DACA is the rock bottom minimum for action.

A couple notes on this: -Only call your reps. Not ones from out of state. -DREAM Act must get through judiciary first.pic.twitter.com/agkDYrOpEe
