I have his autograph sitting on my shelf from when I was a kid before the Special Editions hit cinemas. It really hit me hard to learn he had passed on my birthday. He will be missed.

That’s sad news. I went to a Palitoy sponsored Return of the Jedi screening in Marble Arch in 1985, and Dave turned up as Darth Vader, so I count myself lucky to have heard the SIth Lord speaking in his original West Country accent.
