I’m suggesting that daily sub counts are practically as useful or actionable as live sub counts. I think YouTube likely wants to discourage the spectacle of people watching sub counts during controversies. Sounds like you’d be happy if they just had more accurate data in the dash

Why though would he, being the creator to make it easier on himself, not want to have accurate data anytime and everytime he is on the mindset of figuring out what worked or what didn't work? Like he said, it's not make or break but makes it inconvenient for sure.

You can still check the subs on your dashboard. They probably hear everything we say about creator burnout and know this type of behaviour isn't really healthy
