    Thousands of transfers still to come to Labour from LibDems in Cambridge, South Cambs & Pboro Labour result in Huntington impressive

    So with second preference votes counted from Hunts, East Cambs and Fenland, the totals in the Cambridgeshire and Peterborough mayoral race are: Labour, Nik Johnson: 87,240 Conservative, James Palmer: 98,873 Three districts left: Cambridge, South Cambs and Peterborough

    Vote 6th May to end failure of macho male Tory Police & Crime Commissioners. Last Cambridgeshire & Peterborough PCC Jason Ablewhite resigned in disgrace. Deputy Andy Coles resigned after role exploiting a woman exposed. Time for a Woman! Time for Nicky Massey!

    I am a strong domestic abuse campaigner already, In Cambridge City I host an annual domestic abuse conference and chair the domestic abuse community partnership. I know that the key is both education but also increasing the support for support services and the visibility.

    When is St Peter’s Arcade opening & the disabled toilets. Might citizens take direct action!

    From today (12 April) non-essential shops, gyms, hairdressers and nail salons are re-opening. It’s important to remember, even though the restrictions are easing and more people are getting their vaccine, we must continue to follow Covid-19 guidance.

    I have notified the authority of empty homes hoping that they can be brought into use sooner rather than later. Some have been empty for years!
