    I recognize the intersection. It’s 16th & Union Sq E. That is a very busy intersection. For cops to block the bike lane there like that is incredibly reckless and puts New Yorkers in danger for no reason. Not sure what was thinking…

    Reminder for fellow New Yorkers: using OMNY right now is more expensive than a MetroCard. Paying for a single ride with OMNY does not give you the free credit the MetroCard machines give you.

    The crazy part here: what do the cops expect bikers to do? To avoid the cop car he would have had to swerve into oncoming traffic, or bike on the sidewalk (which the cops can ticket him for).
