    We ran into release blocking regressions in December and decided to take a break for holidays and regroup and ship the release asap after holidays. We are down to one last perf issue that needs to be resolved before we can ship.

    I'm working on adding NgRx (Redux w/RxJS) to a feature that has been using plain RxJS Subjects for state management. I want to illustrate the difference between the two. When you have one Subject, it feels a like Redux adds all this ceremony that just slows you down. (thread)

    Hey users, I often need to emit one `undefined` value in a stream, and I'm not really sure what's the best way to do this. The problem is that `EMPTY` and `of()` never emit any value, it just completes, and `of(undefined)` looks hacky. Is there a better way?
