    Can’t believe I was quoted in an article with and about 2020 candidates addressing the black maternal health crisis. Black women deserve more than empty promises. We need a future president who cares about our health!

    Something we're not talking about nearly enough: the maternal mortality rate in our country is worse than it was 25 years ago, with Black women 3 to 4 times more likely to die from pregnancy-related causes than white women.
