if anyone was wondering, the save is just blank i think they included the save so it would bypass having to create the memory card file, most likely because the emulator wouldn't support that

i was able to convert the super mario sunshine save from all stars 3d into a normal gamecube save, and there's an interesting fact in the save it was last modified on feb 19, 2020, meaning that this is the earliest known date that the all stars 3d project was started onpic.twitter.com/ofZp0zUU6Y

It runs in Dolphin and on a real GameCube, but cutscenes are missing. You can edit them in by ripping them from a regular copy of the game.
