at first i thought it was a problem with the ssd so i bought a new one and cloned the data over while it made things faster it didn’t solve the freezing application problem

i’ve been having issues with my computer recently sometimes applications will begin to freeze one after another leading to the whole system being unresponsive which only leaves me with doing a force shutdown

next i thought it was a ram problem so i took out one stick and left the other in and i even tried swapping with the ram from my other computer but that had no effect on the problem either

my next guess would be the os but i really don’t want to reinstall, i have around 200 programs installed with lots of settings i changes and it would take a long time to get back to where i was

i’ve been dealing with this for around a week now and it’s just been a cycle of me doing a force reset every single time anything becomes unresponsive because once it happens it will just stay like that
