Honestly, with the source code of Super Mario 64 being leaked recently, it's only a matter of time until somebody with too much talent creates a Wario Apparition mod and scares the living shit out of everybody. I know we're all laughing hyuckin' it up but I'm honestly scared

i'm not sure about that part, but i know that nintendo can't take down the code that was rewritten

Re-written may not be the term as re-write would imply a from the ground re-code of the game. They generated a dumb source code using automatic tools and then they proceeded to rename the variables and functions and get things into files... Etc
