It doesn't make sense because it's not "selling" its soap. What it's aaying is the idea that black or white (and all shades in between) is beautiful. It's unexpected, coming from a whitening product.

Of course they're still selling. They're selling their brand and realigning it to a relevant issue that's pervasive in today's society. Imagine if everyone thought dark is beautiful. Eh di wala na silang business.

No one funds an ad without thinking to profit from it di ba. In this economy. If the brand believes all skin colors are beautiful, why are they selling whitening products?

Oh. I thought the profit they're trying to get are sales from people who want to feel like they're supporting a diversity campaign by buying a product to make them all fair-skinned in as little as 7 days.

Yan pa. If they were really sincere they'd take their product out of the market. Kasi after this ad, then what? They'd still be sending the message with their product packaging na white is the ideal and you can achieve that by using their product. Empty gesture for me.
