Asian version of Green Book -Huang Zunxian & Frederick Bee. Chinese poet/diplomat & Gold Rush pioneer were Consul General & vice-consul of consulate in San Francisco from 1882-85. Huang wrote about encounter with thugs whose leader was Irish. http://www.frederickbee.com/huangpoem.html
