coordinating projects between Zürich 🇨🇭 and Miamí 🇺🇸 and I have to it’s pretty one sided— Everyone on the Swiss side is on time and messages during EST business hours Miami: will ghost members or DAYS then send 16 text messages but only between the hours of 2-4am Zürich time

I could write a white paper on how Americans pretend to be 24/7 but really most of that is placing late feedback and burden on the europeans #endrant As a fund GP I’ve never needed my PM skills more than year 5 of my fund I

Said as someone who used to coordinate thousands of digital assists for Macy’s campaigns, package and deploy. Everything “seasonal” was planned and adjusted for—there were zero surprises. Surprises = something broken

100% and ALSO if the user activity is “seasonal” it’s cyclical which means it can be planned for. Ex: summertime email engagement might go down but SMS engagement up. You can still hit user acq KPIs planning around “the season” twitter.com/teej_m/status/…

Stop blaming “seasonality”. Any data investigation that starts with “maybe it’s seasonal” is off track. When reporting metrics, seasonality should be baked in. Leaders need to think about comparison periods - how data is compared over time - and enforce it across the company.

Things people in Miamí have asked from me this week: - my phone number. In the email they’re responding to… that replied twice - a copy of the attachment I attached - instructions for how to use a box.con link with a folder with docs
SaaS billboards in SF *make sense* because a lot of your customers — people who make decisions about software — live and work there. why are there so many billboards about movies in LA? I understand movies are made here… but who are they trying to sway with the billboards?

I just asked myself “what time does the kitchen close?” And I meant my apartment… and I live alone… In case ppl thought ‘closing the kitchen’ was a kid related event. it’s not, it defines becoming old

Asked a European founder if he had a technical co-founder and he said "sorta" so I explained to him that's a no. Its like asking someone if that's their wife and they say "sorta"

The gal doing my hair tonight is 19 years old. I just realized I’m 19 years older than her (twice her age) and have more hours experience getting MY HAIR DONE, than she has DOING HAIR😅 I’m officially old

Have you ever paid $30 to re-buy a SSL cert you already have for the 4th time because it might be easier than fixing the first install? Me either

In Switzerland, private day care costs between $3,500 and $5,000 per month. Imagine you have 4 children. This itself eats up all your fees haha.

That’s because men are afraid to wear Bondage

Shocked the James Bond franchise doesn’t have its own suit brand. It would easily be a multi-billion dollar brand. Absolutely baffling this doesn’t exist.
