Expectations, eh? Cops can’t be bothered to get up off of their fat asses and prevent or solve crime. Worthless!https://youtu.be/URyqGD99Owg

Wait, so you *do* want cops to start arresting more people?

Why are we paying $3/4b if the cops are not going to be preventing or solving crime and crime rates are allegedly rising?

It sounds like you think more police activity and intervention would be helpful. We agree.

I do not. But calling the question might lead to a breakthrough on the impasse where lazy cops get paid to not solve or prevent crime. Been watching this game for 32 yr.

Maybe we’d also agree that a DA who doesn’t do his job shouldn’t be paid $400,000 salary.

Given the SFPD’s inability to conform with federal reforms or to prevent and solve crime, our problems lie earlier in the process than the prosecutor. Meanwhile,
@LondonBreed is the highest paid corrupt mayor in the US and y’all silent.2 replies 0 retweets 0 likes -

I think we're all in violent agreement with regards to corrupt London Breed, but Chesa is right there and the recall will take him out! Police reform is always ongoing & room for improvement is always called for but SF is suffering under the corrupt woke left liberal socialists!

The Brown-Newsom-Lee-Breed corruption is the one thing that has not changed and under which the SFPD was given free reign to be lazy. Crime isn’t remarkably worse now. 18 mo of pandemic powerlessness stoked by right wing propaganda has people looking 2 have power over something.

Agree with you on the historical corruption. SFPD perhaps, but harsh reality is criminals are running rampant thru SF. Your bio speaks to your mindset and position. Good luck with that and may you experience a break in (non violent) so as to perhaps sway your vehement position.

The harsh reality is that the DA is not the SFPD and that the order of operations says that the SFPD has to do their job before the DA can do theirs. Show me the pile of rejected criminal referrals going back 30 yr and I’ll change my mind.
