Letting Adult Probation and the SFPD off the hook, are we?

Yeah I had several of these debates & it’s kind getting a little boring to lay out what is plainly the truth. But I’ll humor you. Because
@chesaboudin did not put behind bars a criminal that was arrested, what, 20 times?, two women are now dead. That is the policy you support.1 reply 0 retweets 5 likes -

Chesa Boudin does not put criminals behind bars. Juries do or criminals themselves plead. The perp was on parole, he had been imprisoned. Boudin has admitted that his office could do better. Nothing but crickets from Probation and the SFPD, & shrieking by serial election losers.

The way you all have whined about losing this is reminiscent of the way that the MAGA crowd can't handle repeated electoral results that have repudiated their position. Your quarrel is with the electorate who disagrees with you in numbers, not the electeds.

If you think voters knew what they elected - think again. Extremists like Mr. Boudin are not in office because SF is full of woke people. They are because most people are low-information voters who thought they did the right thing when they voted progressive. We will inform them.

The SFPD has been whining about successive DAs for the three decades I've live here. The only constant is the SFPOA. You're not informing the electorate, you're denying outcomes unfavorable to you because the discourse has moved forward from what's failed.

Rightfully so.
@GeorgeGascon was just as bad. And yes, criminals killing decent citizens is indeed an outcome I think is "unfavorable" not just to me, but anyone. And protecting innocents is hardly "failed" justice. Well, of course unless you're an "anarchist" like you are.1 reply 0 retweets 0 likes -

The perp was prosecuted and convicted and imprisoned and paroled. Where does the DA have to do with revoking parole for violations?

A new felony crime is not a mere ‘violation’ of parole and the DA need not rely on Parole to take action, in the interest of public safety, in those cases.

The DA can't take action without concurrence of the court, right? This is not Trump's US.
