This is why SFPD's decades-long failure to track these arrests in its early warning system as REQD has been such a disaster. Also why POA is now touting the SFPD system in ads. A civil rights attorney friend says that the SFPD regularly sits on evidence and declines to comport itself with the disclosure requirements of the Brown Act or Sunshine Ordinance. POA whines that successive DAs won't prosecute alleged complaints that are never disclosed.
