As a trans nonbinary person and a bi lesbian, it's not my responsibility for other lesbians to feel valid regardless of whatever microlabel suits me. Additionally, the rhetoric of these exclusionists is nearly identical to that of terfs. It's not to be quirky, it's just accurate.
I have yet to hear a single cogent argument against using the bi/pan lesbian label. The word "lesbian" has only ever been used to exclusively refer to homosexual homoromantic women at the behest of proto-terfs and for-real terfs.
