At @Cloudflare, we’re seeing #IPv6 traffic closing in just shy of 25% at peak, aligned with what Google has reported. https://www.google.com/intl/en/ipv6/statistics.html …pic.twitter.com/B3y59zogPg

It'd be really slick to see a breakdown of that IPv6 traffic in terms of % of the traffic that's mobile-carrier versus others. Mobile carriers (and mobile OS's) seem best aligned to take advantage today.

Agreed. We don't have the traffic classified in that way currently. Sorry.

Are you able to break it down per-country and ASN at all? Would be interesting to see if you see any performance impact compared to v4.

We can see by ASN. I don't think I have an easy answer to "Is v6 faster/slower than v4?" although would be interesting to investigate.

I was thinking more latency/routes vs v4 to the same ASN. Would show some interesting things I suspect - I’m curious because from my little networks pov I can see places where v4 peering is in place but not v6 (for example), sometimes doubling the latency. Argo capture that?

        Replying to @alex__smith @jgrahamc and

I get the impression that a fair few networks neglect the v6 side and treat it as an afterthought from a peering or optimisation POV.

And how much percentage of that is Jio AS55836? Can you share.

I can tell you that that ASN is 75% IPv6 to us.
