Annoyed by slow responses, OMG workers at @cloudflare are easy to work with.
But at my first worker, and cant get caching to work. https://gist.github.com/pksorensen/78fa9788d004311784b12d1faeb1d23a …
This url should get cached. https://cache.earthml.com/providers/EarthML.SentinelMetadataService/Products(%273331317f-04ce-485b-8283-35e98f88e637%27)/Nodes(%27S2A_MSIL2A_20170403T104021_N0204_R008_T32UNF_20170403T104138.SAFE%27)/Nodes(%27GRANULE%27)/Nodes(%27L2A_T32UNF_A009300_20170403T104138%27)/Nodes(%27IMG_DATA%27)/Nodes(%27R60m%27)/Nodes …

Added another script that works: https://gist.github.com/pksorensen/78fa9788d004311784b12d1faeb1d23a … (dont really know what is right n wrong - just trial n error until it worked)
-
Yeah, I don't see anything wrong with the original script itself. It seems like risking a timeout when the resource isn't cached might be a problem though. Do you control the origin? Would you maybe want to move the data into our Workers KV data store?
-
I dont control the origin. And ye, i cached the 524 by mistake (fixed that) and then client code just do retries until succes. From my reading, i concluded that just normal caching would be the best fit.
