    I love but I strongly disagree with this. The time is better spent building the business, there’s no reason to take unnecessary dilution, what other investors think doesn’t really matter at all if you don’t need fuel for the business.

    Independent of runway, it’s important for a startup to fundraise every 12-24 months, to “check in w/ the market.” The act of convincing a new investor to get conviction & set a price is a healthy checkpoint for all parties - founders, early employees & existing investors.
