Aw there is no fillText or strokeText in houdini's paint() API.
I wanted to make a pattern out of unicode characters.

We need TypedOM for this to invalidate correctly:
ctx.font = '12px \'Amazing webfont\'';
...should work, but we need to know to invalidate the paint() function when that web font loads, e.g.
ctx.fontFamily = style.get('--my-font');

Also unclear if having a text support is desirable. We don't want to encourage use cases that hurt accessibility and searchability.
