There is a lot we "could do" and "should do," but there are not pats on the back for trying with life and death. If people are going to call for lockdowns or terminating people's livelihood, they should be willing to compensate those impacted by their choice of virus management.

  ...where we would like them to be. I can donate to charitable organizations to reduce my taxed dollars, but only to certain limits. And knowing that we have the economic power to sustain our nation through whatever we would need to with some change and don't is fucking bullshit.
