I was scared of the same when I had mine, but they don’t actually pierce any cartilage! They yank the little line of skin on the bottom of your nose down and pierce these two super thin pieces of skin between the bottom and cartilage which made it painless for me personally :)

I’ve legit been trying to find the non-cartilage part in my nose for forever but apparently I suck. Maybe I should just go ask a piercer hahaha

Mine had to use forceps because he legit couldn’t make it work just with his fingers
