Some questions for the (video game) RPG fans among ye: What do you most want to see in an RPG that you haven’t seen yet? What are you craving? What annoys you about the genre that you wish new games would change or improve on? What standard ideas or mechanics would you throw out?

Remove leveling from games. Have the leveling feeling baked into gear and character progression. Long ago leveling had an achievement of max level. It was a cool feat in most games since the time required was so high, but gamers have changed.
Something MOBAs get right is that people start on an even playing field and skill defines how far they get. Jumping into an MMORPG where your progression stage is starting immediately would feel amazing.
