I think my main concern with the announcement is it seems to go all in on Standard, and Standard has been good roughly 15% of the time (basically the past 2.5 months) over the past two or three years.
I feel like this announcement heavily implies post modern. We already know Arena has SOI and up as far as assets goes. I wouldn’t be surprised to see Origins and up and get Frontier-lite since WOTC doesn’t like fetches.

I don't think we technically know. Early in the closed beta there were some SOI cards on one of the dev streams, but just how much of the set exists is unknown, as far as I know.
