UPDATE: Has been 7 days since @YouTube @TeamYouTube banned @StatusCoup from livestreaming for 90 days for supposedly violating @cnn's copyright (we didn't). We've consistently reached out in good faith showing how we didn't violate copyright...no response. Censorship at its worst
That doesn't mean the video has to "stay up". They should have some sort of facility to put it in, for lack of a better word, quarantine. So it's not visible to the public, but not gone. We really need Congress to throw the whole DMCA takedown thing in the trash. It's nasty.

It basically amounts to Prior Restraint, the only major difference being that it isn't Government doing it directly. (Technically not "prior", but it's certainly prior to due process.)

When the video gets taken down it's no longer visible to anyone. No need to delete the file, specially if you are going to appeal later.
