I'm looking for technology recommendations that a totally blind person could use to read prescription labels on round bottles. I know phone picture based OCR technology doesn't work well on cylinders, but pens might be better. Can anyone recommend a pen reader?

December 3rd is the International Day of Persons with Disabilities. This year has been tough for many, but the game industry as a whole has made great advances in accessibility. I look forward to seeing what 2021 brings.

An incorrect update briefly went out with it on PS4 with PS5 code enabled. As it can cause game instability on PS4 the mistake was quickly corrected. We apologize for any confusion this caused.

Playcall & In-game pop-up icons are narrated for Madden NFL 21 on Xbox Series S/X and PS5 (not XB1 & PS4). There are still a few narration bugs that have been reported on Xbox One and PS4 which also affect newer consoles, and we're looking into it (no promises or ETA right now)

To echo James, I use feedback posted on for all of our titles. I highly recommend giving accessibility feature suggestions and bug reports on this site. It works out best if there's only one topic per post, as these are used internally in bug databases.

Interesting, unintended byproduct of The Last of Us 2’s awesome accessibility options: the “highlight character” feature makes it really easy to mask characters out to put graphics behind them!
