After I realized, pre-HRT, I had more conventional dysphoria (at first I was suspicious of this bc it seemed like classic social contagion).

Starting HRT was a big shift. My reactions to things made sense to me, I felt like I existed in the world normally for the 1st time.

Dysphoria also reduced, even before physical changes- although I still hope it will reduce further my life is better with HRT.

I think something was off with me brain-chemistry wise that responded well to testosterone therapy.

Reminded me quite a bit of what I'd been told to expect with anti-depressants, except those never did what they were supposed to for me.
