So why don't you think it's a slur?

I don't think it's a slur because it neutrally and correctly summarizes the position. It's like if I objected to being called a writer.

The problem is no doubt a small group of people doing this, but it has a large impact on the women who are threatened and harassed this way.

And no doubt it's a small group of TERFs who harass, dox, and attempt to get trans people fired (including me, somewhat regularly).

The pose of "trans people are so mean & scawwy" isn't persuasive to a trans person who never harasses but has been insulted and harassed.

Yeah, I know, most men never believe it when women say, we are harassed on the street.
