When I talk with my wife (a cis woman) it's often clear how different I was. I saw myself as a boy/man, with women as almost irrelevant.

Must have been so hard growing up in a society that didn't have 'room' for you and offered such a narrow choice of who to develop into.

Well, patriarchy/gender roles are like that for everyone, to an extent. I had an atypical experience of something that oppresses everyone.

Agreed! I so wish more ppl could see that. The true rad fems I follow, point it out. I suspect the haters aren't feminists at all!!

There are many radical feminists who include & accept trans folk. There's also TERFs who I disagree with but aren't jerks & have open minds.

There are even some ideas from that side about not rushing to medicalize too quickly/too young that should be engaged with/thought about.

On the other hand, testosterone had mental/emotional effects that were life changing for me. I'd want to be on it regardless of phys effects

Now you are moving into territory I am unfamiliar with. I do not have enough knowledge about medication to have an opinion.
