I ascribe a moral value to both. I personally care more about sick poor people than about reducing suicides, although both are important.
Certainly the suicide rate is too high and saner gun laws could reduce it, but not my main issue, you're right.

I suppose it doesn't get to my core values as much as sick people dying or people being bankrupted by medical costs, though, you're right.

Right & both things are impt to BOTH of us, even if we diverge on how easily we can forgive a pol who's not as successful in those areas
