Sure. Two possibilities: 1. All ppl have strong gender ids that will assert themselves, in which case a false pos would be brief...

or 2. Some ppl have weaker gender ids than others, in which case a false positive might persist a while or even a lifetime, but who cares?

If gender ID is innate & critical, it seems an entire Lifetime of false gender ID would u b quite detrimental, doesn't it?

This sounds, to me, comparable to the inner turmoil described by transgenderd individuals. Why risk it?

You missed my point. If it's innate and critical in all, anyone temp assigned wrong will realize, make it clear to everyone & change.
