The study is a good one and a step forward in this field. It also is not very strong evidence for benefits from hormones.

Two studies looked at psychological well-being, one looked at quality of life. QoL change wasn't statistically significant for trans men.

As the authors say, the quality of evidence of the studies was low - no controls, self-report, and not randomized.
