I think there are a lot of factors that still need to be weighed, & the opinions and interests of late transitioning adults...

Are there other treatments for gender dysphoria that work for some people? Can we decrease the number of teens who need hormones & surgery?

I think we're close to agreeing on most of this. There is an underlying potential for tradeoffs that make me as a trans person nervous.

I don't see the kids as two distinct groups, I see them as all kid with gender dysphoria. We don't understand why most change later.

That implies that all could be steered away from being trans (or towards it). I highly doubt that, with the caveat that more data is needed.
