I don't think we know how stable early parentally-affirmed trans identities are. It's too new as a phenomenon to know.

It's inevitable that one day we'll see an account by a kid who grew up trans, reverted, and blames parents for pushing them towards that.

Putting personal stuff in print is always a trade off. For advocacy reasons it's necessary to write sometimes about trans kids...

...but think long and hard about exactly what you say, and err on the side of uncertainty and humbleness, esp with very young kids.
