2. As a trans guy, I grew up able to have female heroes/templates as well as men. I could model myself on Emily Bazelon and David Plotz.

4. Now, ofc it's worse to receive racism/sexism/etc. But there's a loss of depth that coming privilege that we don't often think much about.

5. It concerns me, this relative hollowness of experience and what we miss by not taking on perspectives we've been taught to devalue.
