I think there's also the position that social constructs aren't easily or trivially disposed of.
Don't want to go out on a ledge (like the author did) but I think ppl are saying she failed to engage with the relevant thinking on that.

Arguments for trans rights also don't eliminate gender. And that's identical to, "you don't agree with me, so you must be ignorant"

Also, all of the letter's complaining neatly sidesteps actually providing a counterargument, for which there are a few obvious ones
